MNSFA 2008 Annual Convention!

Springtime in Paris… It’s a feeling, it’s in the air, it’s in the sounds, Spring in paris is a subject of many movies, books, songs, and virtually anthing Parisian. Paris, the charming capital of France, is home to Europe’s most famous monuments and museums, astounding architecture and sophisticated cuisine. Paris flourishes with flowers in its open markets, gorgeous parks and botanical gardens. this amazing “city of lights” offers spectacular sites such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and Notre Dame Cathedral. Just the like the Couture fashions of Paris’s spring fashion shows, MNSFA Will provide covention goer’s with an experance rich in the avant gaurd arts.

The Convention Kicks off with “Networking Bizarre” on Saturday Evening. Join fellow florists with fun activities, such as and old fashion Cake/Bouquet walk, improvised Floral Bingo (Flingo), and Silent Auction.

The Trade Show portion of this year’s convention is located in the Grand Ballroom. For Registered participants there is a complimentary mingling buffet. Tantalize your appetite with tasty morsels all the While browsing for opportunities and inspirations for your shop!

The Design Symposium portion of the convention starts at 10 AM with Teleflora’s Sponsored Design Show. Larry Kramer from Big Sky Flowers in Big Sky Montana will show case his creativity and design savvy. In the afternoon session, it is FTD’s Designer Instructor Kirstine Kratt, AIFD will present her signature Program “Flowers for a new Generation” In this trendy new presentation, Kristine will teach you how to creatively design for market to these eclectic, tech-savy and diverse comsumers.

Our own Local Lakeland Floral will be presenting a Mini-Design show featuring Richard Milteer AIFD, AAF, PFCI with his creative twists on Spring!
