MNSFA TWO PART DESIGN COMPETITION

Who Qualifies:

• Any current Member of MNSFA or employee of member is who is actively engaged in floral design as a profession.
• Any floraculture student who is currently attending an educational institution /18 years or older.
• Any Ribbon winner must be present to compete at MNSFA Convention November 8th, 2009 at Hennepin Technical College, Brooklyn Park, MN

Important Information:

You must pre-register for competition. You must pay a $25 per person entry fee in order to be entered in the competition. INCLUDES YOUR STATE FAIR ADMISSION AND PARKING!

• Top 10 are selected and must be available for a Surprise Package design On November 8th at the MNSFA Design Event and Business Conference. You also must be present at the awards ceremony at 4:00 PM on November 8th  to win. Any winners not present will forfeit money and award to next place winner. 
• MNSFA staff and Directors are not permitted to clarify any of the rules or assist any competitor in any way.
• Entries will be on Display for 2 days.  Any arrangement that does not hold up will be removed and becomes the property of MNSFA.
• All winners agree to any publicity, photographs by MNSFA (may be posted on website)
• Check in is 6AM to 9AM in the Horticulture Building on Wednesday September 2nd. 
• You must sign and submit competition rules acknowledgement on back page.
• Your Design will be judged the same morning as check in—However will be on Display for 2 days. Keep in mind the Horticulture building is NOT air conditioned and must hold up for both days. Temperatures in the Hort. Building are normally Extremely HOT !
