Mission Statement: The Mission of the Association shall be to advance the sale and service of flowers through education, events, and social functions; and to promote integrity, honesty, and professionalism in the floral industry.

MNSFA, Minnesota State Florist Association is a trade association for aspects of the floral industry in Minnesota. Our members include retail florists, freelance florists, floral students, and floral associate members, including wholesalers, manufacturers and service providers that work within the floral industry.

Through a structure of sub committees and a dedicated Board of Directors – MNSFA oversees the, this web site, floral expo convention with the Minnesota and neighboring state Wholesalers and conducts the MNSFA Designer of the year Competition and Various exhibitions.

MNSFA maintains a public presence with our annual convention at the Mall of America that features programs for the public as well as for member florists. MNSFA is the voice of the floral industry to the general public and state government.

Established in 1907, As the Twin City Florists’ and Gardener’s Club and became MNSFA in 1908. . The Minnesota Florists’ Public Relations Committee established in 1950, merged with the Minnesota State Florists’ Association to create the Minnesota Allied Florists’ Association in 1960. In 1969, the name was changed to the North Central Florists Association. Today we are known as the Minnesota State Florists’ Association
